Keeping Lawmanac™ Up to Date

After you purchase Lawmanac™, you’ll be able to keep your system up-to-date year after year with our affordable Update Service. When Lawmanac™ changes, you’ll receive an email with a clickable link, which enables you to purchase the update at a special rate.

Changes. Each year, on December 1, amendments to the federal rules take effect. We incorporate these changes each December. You’ll receive an email specifying which rules have changed. If, for example, the Evidence rules have changed and you don’t use the Evidence rules, then you don’t have to update your system. Updating is your choice, and we let you know what each update includes.

Other Changes. From time to time, the Bluebook and the ALWD Citation Manual change. When these changes occur, we update Lawmanac’s citation and style materials. These updates might occur sometime other than December. But we’ll let you know when they do occur, and, again, you have the option of updating your Lawmanac system.

Update Fee. You may purchase each update, usually just one per year, for $10.00.

Update Email. You’ll receive an Update Email, alerting you to changes in the Lawmanac system. We’ll include a link. Click it to purchase the update for just $10.00.
